I want to lift and empower other women, in ways I wish more had done for me throughout my career.
Too often, I see women treating other women even worse than men are treating us. There’s gossip, and in-fighting, and not enough celebrating and supporting. And in the tech industry, where there are already so few women in technical and leadership roles, it can feel like a competition.
What can we do to lift and empower instead of belittling and competing with each other?
How can we recognize the beauty, wisdom, and talents of all the lovely women around us, while empowering ourselves at the same time?
I don’t have answers to all these questions right now. However, I do hope you’ll join me in exploring them.
